Today, Deborah and I made Fields' baby food, which can only be described as, 'mush.' The recipe? Ah, yes, of course you want to know. It's simple, really - English peas, black-eyed peas, sweet potatoes, bananas, prunes, apple sauce, oat cereal, and a heavy duty food processor! It's organic (yes, we have drunk the kool-aid), and it is very cost efficient. In one hour, we had two weeks of the mush and saved many dollar bills. Best of all...HE LOVES IT!!!!!! He can't get enough, and his body illustrates his passion for it with many, many rolls of skin!
Below are a few pics for your viewing pleasure.

I love that yall made your own food!! All the families I know that did that have kids with MUCH better and less picky eating habits...way to go!

clay, first i think that if i'm a hippy for no good reason, you must be one for making your own baby food!! also, what is the rolling of skin?
love it! hippie parents...with a hippie kid! i hear good things about making your own food, too! good job!! and saving major money!!!
y'all are amazing, and amazing parents!!
ok, so this may be a dumb question... are all of those ingredients mixed into ONE food together? surely not!
or are they each individually "mush"?
sounds SICK if it's one combo..poor fields...
randel - its all mixed together, and though its weird, he LOVES it. Supposedly, it will help him be less picky as an eater. No matter what, its healthy and its cheap!
He's changed so much since the last pics!
...and cheap is good!
